Bromley Mountain

Located in the Green Mountain National Forest, six miles east of Manchester, Vt., Bromley Mountain is one of the oldest continuous running ski areas in the United States.

With the pure Vermont flavor still existing, the mountain now boasts 43 trails woven through 163 acres of state and national forest, serviced by ten lifts. The resort is comprised of mostly intermediate and beginner runs. Advanced areas are at East Meadow; intermediate areas are at West Meadow.

If you are a snowboarder you should checkout Jib Park. It has fat bumps, rails, spines, slides and spools - all the elements for thrill-seeking boarders.

If you are only a beginner, you may want to take a lesson or two. PSIA-certified professionals will teach all ages of novice or experienced skiers in need of a tune up.

Take Route 103 (Exit 6, Rockingham) west to Chester to get to Bromley Mountain from I-91. Then take Route 11 west, 21 miles to Bromley.

Drive time to Bromley from New York City will take about 4 hours; from Albany – about 1-1/4 hours; Hartford - 2-1/2 hours; and Boston - 3 hours.
