This resort is a full-service, four-season destination resort on 6,000 private, wooded acres surrounded by the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Bolton offers something for every level of skier with six lifts, and 61 trails covering 165 acres of skiable terrain. The trails uncrowded and lift lines are rare.

The resort takes its pride in 105 km of cross-country skiing terrain, featuring some of the best conditions in the Northeast as a result of its high base elevation of 2,001 feet with the largest cross country trail system on private land in New England. To offer the greatest variety, one-third of the trail network is groomed and tracked, while the rest is preserved in its natural state.

The really unique feature of Bolton Valley is the accessibility of all the resort's amenities. Nearly all lodgings feature ski-in, ski-out convenience and all of the dining and sports facilities are no more than a short walk from your room.

You may find several restaurants within walking distance of each other and the lodge.

There is a 20,000 square foot Sports Center containing indoor tennis, free weights and exercise equipment, activity room (volleyball, basketball), sauna, Jacuzzi, indoor pool, locker rooms and a large screen television, as well as meeting and convention space.

Bolton Valley is located in central Vermont just off U.S. Route 2, serviced by Interstate 89 with exits in Richmond and Waterbury. Burlington is 19 miles east of the resort and Montpelier, the state capital, is 20 miles west.
