Winter is a real phenomenon in northeastern North Dakota. Located into the heavily wooded Pembina Gorge is an alpine ski area.
The resort is 7 miles west of Walhalla on Highway 55 and has gained widespread popularity throughout North Dakota, Minnesota and Canada. The gorgeous Pembina Gorge forms the impressive backdrop for Frost Fire.
