Waterville Valley's alpine ski area and the x-country center are both set in the immense and picturesque White Mountain National Forest. Downhill enthusiasts can relish the expert and intermediate trails and ski down a 2,020-foot vertical drop on Mt. Tecumseh. You may also visit the newly extended Exhibition Terrain Park, in addition to drop in the new in-ground superpipe fixed next to the Park on Phil's Hill. Cross-Country Skiing The Cross-Country Ski Center provides full-service rentals, retail and lessons operating on more than 105km of trails. You may try out 70 km of groomed and tracked trails for both diagonal and skating and 35 km of rough country ski access, making it ideal for the beginner, intermediate or expert skier. And every alpine pass is valid for free same day x-country trail access. Adaptive Skiing Waterville Valley offers an exceptional Adaptive Skier Program. They have mono-skis, bi-skis and other specially-designed gear available. There are 5 on-mountain dining facilities, from common cafeteria-style to gourmet dining and retail, rental and repair shops.
