Boyne Highlands is nested north of Harbor Springs and Petoskey, near Michigan's Lower Peninsula. It is one of the America's top five of best snowmaking resorts, Boyne Highlands has 44 trails, the longest one is about 5,200 feet; with a vertical drop of 545 feet; developed lift network.

Boyne Highlands provides a snowboard half-pipe, in addition to 25 kilometers of groomed cross-country runs. Ski school and rentals are available.

If you want to experience or try night skiing, you may enjoy it on Wednesday-Saturday, while the Christmas holiday. Other options include an inclusive ski shop with equipment and wear for rent and repairs, day lodge with dining facilities, game rooms, three heated outdoor pools and lodgings for about 900 people.

Boyne Highlands, is nestled north of Petoskey near the shores of Lake Michigan. If you are traveling from Chicago, you should take I-94 to Route 131 north to Route 31. Then get M-119 west and look for the signs.

If from Detroit, get I-75 north to Exit 310. And then take M-68 west to Route 31 south to M-119 west and look for the signs.
