Blackjack Ski Resort is located in the stunning Black River Valley in the Lake Superior snow range of Michigan's western Upper Peninsula and is a weekend getaway for local and guest skiers. And the place is a great family destination that offers lower lift ticket rates.

40% of the trails are marked with black diamond runs and several intermediate runs are quite attractive for experts. The base lodge offers everything from a ski wear and rental shops, nursery, dining facilities and bar and après-ski music on weekends.

If you are getting from southern Michigan, you should take I-75 north to I-2 west. Then turn onto Blackjack Road, 3 miles east of Bessemer. If you are driving from southern Wisconsin, get U.S. 51 to Ironwood to U.S. 2 east. Then choose Blackjack Road, 3 miles east of Bessemer.
