Mohawk Mountain is nested in Connecticut's gorgeous northwest area, providing a blend of mountains, tall trees and rushing springs.

The resort boasts 23 trails covering 107 acres of ski areas, catering wide and open trails. Mohawk Mountain is also famous as the largest night skiing area in Connecticut with its 14 lighted runs.

Mohawk's Base Lodge was developed by the area's skiing pioneer Walt Schoenknecht. It caters dining options, ski rental shop. The accommodation, with its rock fireplace enclosed by aged skis and sleigh, provides a calm atmosphere ideal for a steaming cup of hot chocolate and having a solid meal at the cafeteria.

The reconstructed original Pine Lodge also caters food and beverage for more sophisticated tastes. The site is surrounded by the runs and pines; its interior, with unique chimney and terrace, reminds of the 1940's when the area was founded.
