Winter Park has 106 days of sunshine during the ski season - or about 70 percent of the season is sunny.

Winter Park takes a giant step ahead of the Colorado ski resort pack. It is made up by five interconnected mountains, Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Cirque and Vasquez Ridge and three terrain Parks.

1. Winter Park is pure family fun. There are traditional groomed cruisers, challenging mogul runs and a total of 14 acres Learn to Ski and Snowboard areas.  

2. Mary Jane is consistently rated the best bumps in North America, according to Skiing Magazine and anyone else who's skied here.

3. Vasquez Ridge is almost like owning a private mountain. Here you'll relish a couple hundred acres of wide open cruisers and exciting bumps all to yourself. You’ll still be making fresh tracks, even days after a storm.

4. Parsenn Bowl may be characterized as “above the tree line but not above your ability”. Intermediates can also enjoy one of the few bowls. Both the views of the Rockies or the endless runs will take your breath away.

5. Vasquez Cirque is not for the faint of heart. Extreme backcountry terrain, for expert only. At some of these cornices even pros squirm. You can pump all the adrenaline here.

6. Park & Pipes. It offers a natural progression for free riders of all levels with three terrain parks. Rails in Discovery Park and small features are designed for beginners. Rail Yard is geared toward advanced riders and Kendrick Terrain Park is a step up for intermediates. Located on the face of Allan Phipps, the Superpipe is 450-feet long and has 18-foot walls. Amplitude banners in the pipe let riders see how much air they're getting. Next to the Superpipe a half-pipe is located. Terrain Park and Pipes in Winter Park were ranked #9 in the nation by SKI magazine.
