Eldora Mountain Resort is Colorado's closest skiing to Denver and Colorado's front range. Eldora Indian Peaks offer supreme skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and snowshoeing all together.
Beginning from 1962, Eldora has offered quality skiing on 53 trails with a variety of terrain in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All the trails are groomed with an advanced system that leaves slopes with a soft corduroy result that lasts all day.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of winter activities from downhill skiing and snowboarding to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, or a day for the children at the Children's Center. There are multiple lesson programs available, such as the the 5-week Eldorables Children's program.
The resort boasts of challenging steeps and newly improved glade terrain on the Corona side and sensational cruising down well-groomed slopes on the front side. You may enjoy 4 awesome terrain parks built with multiple lines to drop depending on ability levels. There are hidden tree runs all over the mountain and you can always find a stash of fresh snow.
A variety of cross-country terrain is located to the side of the mountain, such as a Nordic center with 45 km of marked and groomed trails. Searching for skiing with the relatives? Skier's right of the mountain has an area just for family fun.
Eldora offers a gentle rise serviced by Tenderfoot and Caribou lifts for beginning skiers. And the Nordic Center has 45 km of marked and groomed trails for cross-country fanatics.
The resort is easily accessed via Colorado Highway 119 - no mountain passes, no I-70 traffic hassle.
