If you have an Aspen area lift ticket, you may can try the slopes of Highlands but also choose from Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk and Snowmass. The resort is located in 3 miles from Aspen downtown, and if want to relish the absolute Aspen experience, you should visit Highlands.

Aspen Highlands still defies the snowboarders and skiers skills and nerve, from novice to professionals. The one thing the mountain lacks is the park/pipe area.
