Cloudmont Ski Resort

Beginning from 1970 the superior snow-making equipment and patient professional instruction have provided Cloudmont's ski expansion to include two one-thousand foot, beginner-intermediate slopes. There are 2 "pony lifts" that take skiers to the top of the slopes that have an elevation of 1,800 feet and a vertical drop of 150 feet.

Sparkling snow falls on to Cloudmont as soon as cold overnight temperatures drop to 28 degrees or colder which allows snowmaking to begin. The machine-made snow offers a deep base to hold the snow through the warmer days with snow grooming equipment if required.

Novice or experienced skier will be comfortable at Cloudmont. A few hours of expert guidance from the instructors and you're sailing down slopes like you have been doing it all your life, even if you've never been on skis. Here the American Teaching Method is used to teach thousands.

Skiers of all ages and abilities get personalized instruction in both group and private lessons. You may also rent skis, boots, poles and other necessary equipment in the Ski Lodge.
