Vogel is the ski resort, accessible only by cable car. This is why the Vogel ski resort would be the ideal choice for quiet holiday lovers. There are no crowds and there is no river of skiers, there are no noisy parties and glittering hotels there. Vogel ski resort is located right above the beautiful Bohinj Lake, which is beneath the peaks of Julian Alps and Triglay. This location provides the magnificent view. Visitors are taken to their skiing runs, which are mostly of easy and medium categories by 10 well – maintained funiculars – T – bar lifts, sitting cars, as well as gondola lifts. Nearby peaks of Julian Alps provide a perfect possibility for ski touring (skiing on unarranged slopes). Besides, it is also possible to ski at night, as the trails are light enough. There are ski schools with high – qualified instructors for any kind of winter activities. To other possible activities, except skiing, which are available at the resort, belong waterfall ice climbing, ice skating on natural and artificial ice, parasailing, paragliding, gym, sauna, indoor swimming, sightseeing, hiking.
