Kobla

The Kobla ski resort belongs to the Bohinij glacial basin, which is situated in the Julian Alps, in the northwestern part of the country and right in the middle of the Triglav National Park. The resort is located above the town of Bistrica. Right above it there is a small cluster of other villages and hamlets. The area around the ski resort is defined by its scenic beauty, green forests, fresh air and its traditional atmosphere. Bohinj ski area has a total of 58 kms of pistes, 23 of which are at Kobla. The longest run there is six kilometers. 

Besides skiing there are all kinds of opportunities for waterfall ice – climbing and ice – skating on natural as well as on artificial ice, provided by the Kobla ski resort. In addition, there are several saunas, a gym, parasailing, paragliding and indoor swimming available. As for the very lake Bohinj, it is surrounded by a plexus of hiking trails, which afford scenic walks through a magical winter landscape.
