Strbske Lake is a lakeshore resort in the High Tatras (altitude 1355 m). Winter sports competitions including international ones are often held here. Equipped sport center for skiflying, viewing stands, two stadiums, indoor swimming pool, sauna – all these is located approximately 1-1.5 km away from the village. Here cross country (5-50 km) and downhill trails start and end. Alpine skiing area is 1300 – 1900 m, elevation change – 450 m. The surroundings of Strbske Lake resort are interesting for those who enjoy hiking. Tourists usually go to Jamske and Popradske Lakes, to the waterfall in the Mlynica valley, rise to Predne Solisko (2093 m), Bystre Sedlo (2490 m) and Rysy (2500 m). Many tourists consider Strbske Lake to be the best resort in the High Tatras. Indeed, there are many climatic sanatoriums and good hotels where guests can enjoy the services of fitness centers, massage, gyms. But it should be mentioned that this resort is oriented on alpine skiing in the same degree as on other winter sports. Resort Information
