The most famous restaurant of Zakopane is located at the top of Kasprowy Wierch Mountain at the altitude of almost 2000 m, a beautiful view opens from there. Gubalovka area also has many restaurants and cafes, but the largest number of them is in the center of the town near famous pedestrian street of Krupovka. Here one can taste virtually all world cuisines, but most popular are national restaurants, taverns, or “robbers’ cabins” where traditional dishes of gorals or local mountaineers are served. Those who get interested in their culture will be pleased to see the folk band on the stage.

Zakopane is proud of its traditions and own style. Old houses, villas, wood church of XIX century are well-restored. Zakopane has theater, art gallery, art-stores. For children - Ferris wheel and Loona Park in the neighboring town of Rabka. There is Nowy Targ town with icehockey center at the distance of 20 km from Zakopane on the way to Krakow.
