Waiorau Snow Farm is truly considered to be the New Zealand’s only Nordic and cross - country ski resort. It consists of 55 kilometers of carefully groomed trails snake across the high Pisa plateau and it also provides ski in as well as ski out accommodation for the adventurous. All of the events, held in this ski area, cater for any level of skier, beginning from the average citizen and up to the international racer. The ski school, guided by highly experienced instructors caters for the first time skier to the expert racer. As for the trail fees, they include road usage and lodge facilities for today skiers.
The base lodge of the resort can house more than 70 clients, providing ensuite as well as shared facility rooms (all of which are “walk out the door skiing). This is a comfortable lounge with dining and full bar facilities, being provided. Meals, altitude shop, gymnasium, function rooms are also included. In addition, there is a viewing deck with 360 degree panoramic view on the Southern Alps.
