It is considered to e one of the few places where it is possible to sleep in lodges right on the field and literally roll out of bed onto the slopes.
The Temple Basin ski resort is located at the top of the magnificent Southern Alps, right at the heart of Arthur’s Pass National Park in one of these take – the – breath – away locations that feels like a person is being on the top of the world. There are two modern lodges at the resort, which offer bunk room style accommodation for 120 visitors. It is not necessary to be the member of the Temple Basin Ski Club, if someone wants to ski, snowboard or simply stay in one of the lodges; although, it should be mentioned that fees for accommodation, as well as for lift passes are somewhat lower for member.
