Yongpyong Resort, since its foundation in 1975 with an outlook to creating "harmony between people and nature" as the first country’s ski resort, is fitted with the greatest amenities nested on the mountains, on the altitude of 700 to 1,458 meters, 4,300 acres of area.

Yongpyong Resort boasts 31 slopes, 6 of which are FIS standard for international contests. Night skiing is provided on 8 slopes.
There are also cross-country skiing facilities available, rental of ski equipment. The ski resort is served by 14 lifts and 1 gondola with a total lifting ability of 25,000 skiers/hour.
