Val di Fassa is a ski region in the Dolomite Alps that includes 13 resort villages capable to receive 26 000 guests at a time. Val di Fassa skiing zone with total slope length of over 200 km starts at the elevation of 1200 m and ends at 2550 m. The longest downhill trail is Del Bosco (6500 m, elevation change 934 m). Those fond of cross country skiing are familiar with Marcialonga trail going through the Fleims and Fassa Valleys.  Forked system of lifts allows skiers who have common ski-pass move free from one trail to another. Sella Ronda is one of the most enthralling Val di Fassa’s routes. It allows circuiting the entire Sella mountain massif. Many people appreciate Val di Fassa’s resorts for the possibility to spend the whole vocation mastering new slopes every day.

Canazei, Campitello, Alba, and Penia are the most crowded and boisterous part of the valley. The most diverse opportunities for skiing are between Rodella (2485 m) and Passo Sella (244 m), where one may easily get from Campitello. Those who like easy skiing usually choose the vast Belvedere plateau above Canazei. Not far from here above Pordoi  pass (2239 m) trails are for experienced sportsmen only.  Col dei Rossi trails are of the same difficulty.  Moena, Soraga, and Forno villages are located in the center of the Three Valleys.  

Val di Fassa is called winter dream, and it’s not just a phrase used to advertise the resort. The level of lift and other services refers local resorts to the best Italian ones. Val di Fassa’s sport centers provide all the opportunities for going in for various sports; in the evening hospitable restaurants, bars, and discos are waiting to entertain guests. In addition, Val di Fassa preserves specific color of ladin’s land and locals treasure the history of their region. Vigo’s museum exposition allows tourists to take a new look at architectural monuments of this part of Dolomite Alps, get interested in ceremonies, hear folk songs that are sang in holiday time.
