Auli is located enclosed by snow-covered peaks of Garhwal Himalayas, in the Chamoli district of Uttaranchal, in close proximity to the world renowned holy place of Badrinath. At the elevation of 2,500 to 3,050 m, Auli’s slopes are lined by forests. If adventure is what you need this vacation, head for Auli, in the area of the mountain summits Nanda Devi and Mana Parbat. The season lasts from January to March, in the period when skiing festivals and the National Championships are held.

The Auli slopes, descending from 3049 to 2915 m are lined by majestic trees. Another attraction of the resort is scenery of Himalayan mounts such as Nanda Devi (7817 m), Kamet (7756 m), Mana Parvat (7273 m) and Dunagiri (7066 m).
