Les Menuires
Main features of Les Menuires are numbers of long trails, well-developed lift network and plenty of chaste slopes. Apres-ski is as amazing as skiing here: lots of restaurants, clubs, cinemas, shopping facilities and many more.
Les Menuires

Les Ménuires is located in the vastest of the Three Valleys – the Belleville Valley. It has many-kilometer downhill trails, dozens of lifts, and infinite virgin slopes.

Les Ménuires belongs to the so called “integral resorts”: despite all the comfort and developed infrastructure the main thing here is the opportunity to ski right at the doorstep. Many people think that such modern centers lack the atmosphere of coziness and traditions. But in this case it is compensated by the ancient village of Saint Martin located near.

From Les Ménuires as well as from all the neighboring resorts any lift and downhill trail of the Three Valleys is easily reached. The difficult trail Leo Lacroix (2430 m, elevation change 720 m) will be interesting for experienced skiers.  Many tourists are attracted by the virgin slopes of Lac du Lou, Les Cretes, Les Encombres.

28 km of cross country trails and 28 km of marked walking paths start in Les Ménuires and go over the valley. In summer and in winter special programs are offered, the most popular is thematic tour “The Ways of Baroque” that includes visiting 22 villages and ancient churches.

Children at the resort are given special attention. Though nursery and kindergarten are only in La Croisette, the participants of special educational programs (Ourson – 2.5 - 4 years, Etoile – 4 - 6 years) that include skiing and tobogganing, snow games, drawing, walks and eating are taken from hotels by special bus.  Les Ménuires has children ski and snowboard school, children’s club and even children’s restaurant. The most interesting programs for children are offered during Christmas holidays.

Adults will also not get bored: there are 32 restaurants and bars in the valley, 14 restaurants in the mountains, 2 discos, 2 cinemas, 26 sport stores and boutiques, 17 food stores, 3 book stores, jewelry store, photostudio, hairdressing saloons, laundry, and, of course, the opportunity to master various sports or enjoy hammam, sauna, tannin salon, massage and body building in any of the fitness centers.
