The skiing zone starts at the elevation of 740 m, the length of slopes is from 250 to 3700 m, elevation change is from 40 to 490 m. Experienced skiers go to the top of Dívcí Kameny (1414 above sea level). The resort is popular among those who prefer cross country skiing. From the upper lift station the trail goes to Plán Plateau. Cross country trails connect Spindleruv Mlyn with other regions: from here one may get to Horni Misecki and then to the trails of Benecko. The trail with cheerful name “Be fit!” (8000 m) is very popular. From the mountain cabin of Spindlerova Bouda starts a toboggan track. From the top of Medvědín (1241 m) one may go to Laba (Elba) at the elevation of 1386 m. In spring you will be impressed by the waterfall on Laba formed by the junction of numerous mountain brooks and sources. Due to its unique nature the part of this region entered into the Krkonose National Park. Ski and foot walks over surroundings give the chance to get acquainted with the peculiarities of local architecture. The town of Harrahov on the Mumlava River is located not far from here.
