Located on the north end of Vancouver Island, Mt. Cain offers a unique experience for skiers, snowboarders and backcountry explorers. Just a short drive (roughly two hours) from the north end of the island or Courtenay and Campbell River area, Mt. Cain is ideal for families and snow enthusiasts of all skill levels.
If you like steeps or cruisers or both, Mt. Cain's wide variety of runs are designed to offer something for everyone. The resort’s 18 runs cover 1,500 vertical feet and have an average mid-season base of 120 inches.
Here you'll find untouched powder that has built up over the week, virtually no lineups for lifts and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of a family oriented mountain.
The mountain is run by a nonprofit society and is the largest regional park in the Mount Waddington Regional District. It's a great place to bring the family with uncrowded runs, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere. Resort Information
