Located in E.C. Manning Provincial Park, Manning Park Resort has winter season that lasts from late November to early April.
Winter sports enthusiasts have 25 trails and a snowboard park with four lifts providing access to them. There are 30 km of groomed trails and 190 km of wilderness to explore for Nordic skiers. You may also enjoy telemarking and backcountry skiing, snowshoeing and outdoor skating.
There are ski lessons available for all abilities ages 3 and up.
Kinderski program provides supervised fun time with some time spent "child-minding" and some outdoors for kids 3 to 6 years old. The graduates of the Kinderski program are Mighty Bears who are ready to tackle more challenging terrain.
Lessons of snowboard and rentals are offered as well. Manning Park also has step-in snowboards and boot rentals and the hot shape ski demos.
There are 41 lodge rooms, 20 cabins and four chalets to accommodate the vacationer at the resort base area.
The resort is located about 40 miles east of Hope, B.C., on Hwy. #3. It is about a three hour drive from Vancouver.
