The resort is famous for consistent snow conditions and an exceptional variety of terrain from beginner slopes to extreme terrain.
Kimberley Alpine Resort is an excellent family resort with full Daycare facilities, Ski & Snowboard School programs and lessons, day and evening activities including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, KidzRule Evening Program, night skiing, movies, hockey, curling, skating and more. The resort boasts a new terrain park and halfpipe, there is enough mountains for everyone - 67 runs, 2,465 vertical feet and 1,800 acres of terrain. In less than nine minutes the Northstar Express quad chair soars 2,500 feet from base to summit.
The city of Kimberley, only a 2 minute drive from the ski resort's base, provides unique lodging, dining and shopping opportunities. The 103-year-old town mixes seamlessly with the new village. The city was one to the first areas to offer on-mountain lodgings.
Ski and Snowboard School offers a range of programs to improve snowboarding or skiing skills for all ages and abilities.
You may discover skiing or snowboarding introduces first-timers to the sport of their choice. Children 6 to 12 years old may visit Kimberley Kruisers that is a junior program.
Kimberley is located in the southeast corner of British Columbia, with a fabulous view of the Rocky Mountains. I t is only a four hour drive from both Calgary, Alberta, and Spokane, Wash. The resort is only 15 minutes from the local airport.
