Just in some minutes from downtown Banff, Mount Norquay is convenient and offers a wide range of terrain: 11 percent beginner, 45 percent intermediate and 44 percent expert. The resort offers 90 percent of snowmaking capabilities. Mount Norquay offers some of the best grooming in the Rockies.
There is a ski school for individuals or groups in the area, which is CSIA certified. You may visit the classes by the hour or by the day. Some of the amenities also include a snowboard park and half-pipe, plus the "Unlimited" snowboard school.
Norquay has "The Kids Place" for families with small children, where kids can enjoy the day doing crafts and play indoors and outdoors at a licensed facility with child care professionals.
Besides you may enjoy the newly constructed 24,000 square foot Cascade lodge. Look through picture windows that provide breathtaking views of the ski area and surrounding mountains.
