Pamporovo

Pamporovo in Rhodopy Mountains is called the sunniest of winter Bulgarian resorts. Skiing zone is located at the elevation from 1600 to 1926 m. The trails are laid on the slopes of Snezhanka mountain; one can reach them by numerous lift lines capable to transfer to its top up to 7500 people per hour. The total length of trails (various levels) is 17.5 km; ski race tracks are also available here (from 5 to 10 km).

Pamporovo resort is famous by its ski school – one of the best in Europe. The course of studies is from 3 to 14 days, the school has over 100 instructors. The kindergarten attached to adult school accepts children for the whole day; here they can take their first ski steps. Rental centers offer equipment produced by the best world companies.

Pamporovo resort began to receive guests as far back as the beginning of 1960-s, and now it has developed infrastructure. It has large shopping center, hairdressing saloons, garages, etc. There are indoor swimming pool, sauna fitness center and physiotherapy, archery center. Numerous restaurants and cafes invite to taste Bulgarian cuisine.

Hotels and cottages are located mostly in coniferous wood. Tourists (in a season) go hunting and fishing in the outskirts. Here tourist’s paths are laid and there are cozy mountain cabins. From Snezhanka top (1926 m) one may go on panoramic helicopter excursion over the Radopy Mountains.
