Ben Lomond is Tasmania's premier ski resort and offers a full range of facilities to enjoy the winter wonderland. Located right at the base of the lift system the Alpine Village offers stunning views. No matter if it is downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or throwing snowballs, Ben Lomond can provide it all.
On snow lodging is available through the Creek Inn which also has entertainment on the weekends. The resort is a one hour drive from Launceston and two and a half hours from Hobart.
The resort offers a total of 6 surface lifts at Ben Lomond (3 platter and 3 T-bars).
You should buy the entry passes to drive into the National Park and can be purchased at the park entry or at the Creek Inn. The fees help provide road clearing services, ski patrol and the further development of the ski field.
