Chapelco, nested in 19 km away from San Martín de los Andes, in the Andean Cordillera, is a part of the mountain range. Here you can observe Lake Lácar and Lanin Volcano. The Andean Woods full of old woods and trees with lichens create a mysterious view when one slides down from any of the trails. The resort is located 1250 m above sea level and its peak is at about 2000 m. This advantaged setting is the reason why the snow here remains great during the winter season. The resort provides a ski and snowboard school and a nursery.
